And why do highly capable people have difficulty finding meaningful and productive volunteer opportunities while at the same time non-profits struggle to find the pro-bono talent they need to accomplish their goals?
These were the questions that got us thinking…and then got us working on building an organization that would promote skills-based volunteering across all job functions and all industries.
Founded and built entirely by volunteers, SmartVolunteer is just one practical example of the impact that volunteers can make by putting their time and expertise to use in socially beneficial ways.
Our Mission
SmartVolunteer's mission is to connect skilled professionals with volunteer
opportunities that utilize their professional expertise. At the same time,
SmartVolunteer matches nonprofits and charities with the individuals
necessary to fill the critical needs of their organization.
