Exhibtion Gallery Host

Project Description:
The Mission Houses Museum’s new exhibit Alphabet Soup: Language, Literacy, and Learning is opening on February 13, 2009 and runs through June 13, 2009. The museum is looking for people who are interested in promoting literacy and reading skills for young people who visit the Museum. The Exhibit Gallery Host would provide security for the exhibit gallery by being present in the gallery, promote use of the hand-on materials within the exhibit, read stories to young people, and interpret the exhibit for visitors. We are looking for attendants to be present for the duration of the exhibit on Saturdays between 10am and 4pm for regular shifts of 2 to 4 hours. We do request a commitment of 1 Saturday per month.
