HORD is a community-based organization, a non-political, non-profit making but voluntary in nature.
HORD scales up its support especially to child-headed households (CHH), orphans and others affected by HIV/AIDS.
HORD will operate in Kamuli district which is one of the districts located in Eastern Uganda. However, HORD will extend its services to the communities in other parts of the Uganda in areas that will be identified to be vulnerable from time to time.
Mission Statement:
To empower vulnerable orphaned children and the poor rural community by providing them with the skills and tools they need to develop.
