Exhibition Aide

Project Description:
Are you looking for experience in working with museum exhibitions? The Mission Houses Museum is looking for volunteers who have a basic knowledge of power tools like table saws and drills. Painting experience is also a plus! Help construct pedestals for our new exhibition Alphabet Soup: Language, Literacy, and Learning. We need help painting the gallery and installing exhibit elements like pedestals, wall panels, stands for objects, and labels. This opportunity begins January 6, 2009 and goes through February 17, 2009. At least a one day per week commitment is requested.
