Under general supervision, learns to perform professional accounting duties including the examination, analysis, maintenance, reconciliation and verification of financial records; and performs related work as required.
Duties include:
- Month-end closing
- General ledger accounts
- Bank reconciliation’s
- Preparing financial statements
- Budget preparation and forecasting
- Preparing management reports
- Making recommendations for new systems and/or modifications to existing systems for better financial control
