Long Island Volunteer Fair

Project Description:
The 5th annual Long Island Volunteer Fair will be held on Thursday, October 20, from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm at Farmingdale State College's Roosevelt Hall. Over 65 nonprofit agencies representing all volunteer impact areas will be exhibiting. The fair draws students (high school and college age), community members, and businesses with employee volunteer programs.

Skill-based volunteers are sought in all areas of administrative, operational, program and service delivery for nonprofit organizations from the following volunteer industries: animals, economy and business development, education, emergency management, environment, human services, mentoring, special needs, and youth programming.
