I am Dannelle Johnson- CEO, President, Founder of a new emerging artist and theater ensemble, and performing arts community-based US nonprofit 501(c) (3) organization. We would like to produce and debut (2) multi-disciplinary and cultural ensembles at The Long Island University Kumble Theater. We will be presenting Poetry and Comedy- the Meeting of The Great Minds- live theatrical performances which is a collective of new works from New York City’s top spoken word artists and comedians in an ensemble production with musical composition, dance and spirited theatrical performances of emerging new works and a spectacular cast. We request a 1 Day Event accommodation for Friday, November 25, 2011 at 7:30pm. The 2 1/2 Hour production ShowTime is from 7:30pm-10:00pm. We would like to request space accommodations and theater rentals for the Multicultural Theatrical Performance and Musical” Count Your Blessings” Friday, December 16, and Saturday, December 17, 2011. ShowTime is 4pm- 7:30pm, and 8pm-11:00pm. Count Your Blessings is an uplifting and highly spirited ensemble telling the story of the degradation and gentrification of New York City’s Brooklyn, Public Housing Projects during the 35-year period between 1976-2011. We explore the social issues of poverty, homelessness, drug and alcohol addiction, urban degradation and gentrification in underserved communities. The principal cast will face many of these human/ universal conflicts in a tragic life changing ordeal and challenge them to choose the road of Good or Evil, which Represents the keys of Life Or Death which represent (2) separate doors that will to decide their own Faith and Destiny by entering one or the other. The Keys of Life- are guarded by 2 Guardian Angels—The Angel of Life and The Angel of Death. Which one will they choose?
