Project Description:
This event offers parents and teachers a one-stop opportunity to meet with school leaders to learn about the 53 DC charter schools in the city ahead of the enrollment period for the 2012-2013 school year. Teachers and others can also seek job opportunities available in charter schools. There will be giveaways for attendees and activities for children at the Expo. Help Us Pitch D.C. Public Charter Schools to Parents and Teachers! FOCUS wants YOU to help us share public charter school success stories with D.C. families and prospective teachers. The D.C. Public Charter School Recruitment Expo hosts charter school representatives ready to assist parents and teachers in making informed school decisions. It’s a fantastic resource for parents and teachers and a great opportunity to recruit FOCUS volunteers – be sure you don’t miss out!
