Become a StreetWise Partners Mentor

Project Description:
Want to make an impact on someone’s life? Become a mentor with StreetWise Partners, and use your skills to help low-income individuals secure better jobs and improve their lives. StreetWise Partners seeks volunteers who want to leverage their professional skills and empower motivated, low-income individuals to build workplace skills and create employment networks. During our 13-week Career Ventures program, you will meet weekly with your trainee and help them learn critical job market skills including resume writing, interview preparation, computer training, career goal setting, public speaking, and business etiquette. By continuing to support your trainee for nine months after the Career Ventures program, you will also help your trainee reach their mid-term career goals.
