Project Description:
Dedicated virtual volunteer facilitators are needed for a unique opportunity to help homebound seniors socialize and connect with the outside world. The virtual volunteer would facilitate a weekly virtual interactive class lasting between 45 and 60 minutes that would engage the homebound seniors in meaningful conversation about the approved topic or class activity. Some examples of interactive classroom topics/activities include Trivia, Current Events, and Music Appreciation. All classes occur in a group video chat room, no travel required to volunteer.
